apple watch not paired with new iphone i have had for the past year

i changed my phone last year to another iphone and i don't think my new phone is paired with my apple watch, when i go on my phone it asking me to pair my watch but it does not let me do that as is said it is compared with another iphone, can you help

Apple Watch Won’t Pair to New Phone I have unpaired my Apple Watch from the previous phone and also reset the content and settings on there. Remove your watch from the old phone;

Then;

Setup your Watch to a new iPhone
