Reset network settings recently. Now I can’t merge calls. Able to make multiple calls, and merge button is not grayed out, but will not merge. Have followed all suggestions. Restart phone. Take SIM card out. Turn off Wi-Fi calling. Updated to latest iOS (16.0.2). Nothing. Husbands phone is identical on Verizon and can merge no problem. Suggestions?
iPhone 13 Pro Max
Have contacted my carrier (Verizon) and they say this option is supported by them and by the plan I am in. Up until this past Monday it worked just fine (note that we can make and merge multiple Facetime calls, but not phone calls). This problem started after the iPhone 13 Pro Max had the Network Settings reset. SIM has not changed. Plan has not changed. Phone has not fundamentally changed other than reset of the Network settings. And yes, the iOS is updated to 16.0.2 (latest).
This leaves three options I can think of: Phone has gone bad, SIM has gone bad, Network reset screwed up something. Any suggestions as to which? Phone going bad seems unlikely since everything else works. Same with the SIM.

Call Waiting, Call Merge, Conference Call, Hotspot, VoiceMail (Visual or Normal) all are Carrier Specific features. Contact your Carrier (Cellular Service Provider), the agency that issued the SIM / eSIM to you.
