Doubled Reminders on Watch after WatchOS8 update

I updated my iPhone (XR) to OS16 and my Watch (Series 6) to OS8 and now have all my Reminders and Reminder lists doubled on the Watch app (see photos below). This is creating a few problems:

1) I get each reminders popping up twice on my Watch (not a problem, just an annoyance)

2) Only one of each list on the Watch gets updated when I add reminders on my phone (one of them never changes)

3) If I add Reminders using Siri on my Watch, they are added on my Watch but NOT added to the Reminders list on my phone. This is where the real problem lies, as I really like the convenience of adding Reminders using Siri on my Watch but they are not nearly as useful if they live only on my Watch.

I've searched the Forums and elsewhere on the web and haven't seen this issue mentioned elsewhere. Any help would be welcome!
