apple watch ultra band

I bought apple watch ultra ocean band but, When this band is attached to the body of the Apple Watch, the band is torn at the sharp part of the body. Is this bad?

Maybe you inserted it in the wrong angle and so the magnets crawled a bit, but it's all ok. Visit: Change your Apple Watch band - Apple Support

Apple Watch Band Broken Hello, My steel link band recently broke. My watch is perfectly fine, but one of the release pieces broke off. My watch is still in warranty for another 11 months. What should I do? Is there a way to only get the band replaced? Or do I have to send the entire watch in as a repair claim?
