Password no longer works
After last night’s MacOS update (23 Sep 22) my password no longer works on my MacBook Pro (c2018). The password window now prompts me for a PIN. Ideas?

The PIN refers to an AppleID pin which should show up on an iPad or iPhone registered to the same AppleID.
