Photos media type folder

iphone photos media type folder not showing all photos.

I have 11,000 photos yet media types is only showing half such as Live, video, screen shot but does not appear to be showing a non-live photo in the album


amnybthoughts appreciated

In Fotos on a Mac you could use a smart album to show all fotos that are not Live Photos in in one place. This is not yet possible in Photos iOS on an iPhone. The best you can do is going to the Library tab, then click the three dots (∙∙∙) , then Filter. Set the filter to show only photos. This will still include the Live Photos, you would have to hide the Live Photos temporarily to be able to create an album with all standard photos.


You may want to send a Feature Request to Apple to add "Standard Photos" to Media Types.
