Should I keep stolen device on my account?

My iPad 12.9 Pro was stolen in San Fran on 8-8-22.. I immediately put an “erase” on it in “Find My.” Today, 8 weeks after the theft, I got pinged that it was being erased and was in Viet Nam!! I got a message from apple saying it was being erased… So…. Now that its erased, should I remove it from…. or leave it a part of.. my existing Apple account??

If you left the Activation Lock on and didn't remove it from your account, I suggest you leave it on your account.
