Upgraded to Monterey 12.6 - USB C Dock Doesn't Work Now

I have a Mac Mini (M1, 2020) and I just updated to Monterey 12.6 and now my USB C dock that I've been using for over a year has stopped working. I saw that people had this problem when Monterey first came out, but I have not experienced any issues until today. I tried power cycling all the cables and the Mini with no success. Has anyone seen a fix for this?

Hello cpatterson1177,

Thanks for posting in the Apple Support Communities.

It seems like you've tried some great steps so far, so let's see if we can help to isolate this further. If you have another USB C dock to test, does it connect with your Mac mini? If you don't have access to one, could you try your USB C dock with another Mac to see if it works?

Check out the following information and see if any of the steps of the resource help to clear this up: If a USB device doesn’t work with Mac - Apple Support

Check the USB hub: If the device is connected to a USB hub, make sure the device and the hub are the same speed. Connect USB 3.0 SuperSpeed devices to a USB 3.0 SuperSpeed HUB, USB 2.0 Hi-Speed devices to a USB 2.0 Hi-Speed hub, and so on.

If you're still unable to use the dock, check if devices connected directly to your Mac mini will work or not.

Have a great day!
