I went thru set up for new Apple Watch 8 and set a 4 digit passcode when prompted. However no passcode appears to be successfully set up. And trying again at passcode option screen either on iPhone or on the watch itself won’t allow me to set up a passcode. The options are not clickable. Can anyone help? I can’t sort wallet in the watch without a passcode

The restrictions would be for increased security. My Apple Watch Series 1 worked fine. The problem is I want a passcode and it’s not allowed. I have tried a total restart of the watch and switching off any work accounts. Nothing has helped.
Is your phone company/corporate managed?.
The phone is my personal phone. But I do have my company email, teams etc set up on it.
Contact your company administrator and ask them if there are any restrictions in place.
