iPhone 14 pro max camera app video recording

Hello everyone. I have the iPhone 14 pro max and I don’t have any issues shooting videos in IG/ snap/ ticktock - the camera works fine and the videos are smooth and stable however I’m having a serious problem when I open the camera app and shoot a regular video ( taking photos works fine); the video is very laggy or feels like it’s slow motion, it’s not clear and smooth. Can anyone please tell me they are having the same issue !!!! Is this going to be fixed next week with the update Apple will release next week? Thank you

Hey Fl_lb,

Sounds like your iPhone 14 Pro Max Camera app isn't behaving as expected, but things are working well in 3rd party apps.

Also, you mentioned wondering if this would be fixed in a future update, to clarify though, which exact iOS version do you have installed? iOS 16.0.2 was recently released, so be sure you're fully updated to it if you're not already.
