JessS19, that you for the response. however, the option that you provided does not solve the problem.
The problem is that i am unable to selectively customize the notifications for only one of my five calendars that i have enabled in the ios calendar app.
I do not want to affect all global calendar notifications.
I want to be able to see my work calendar but not receive any notifications for my work calendar, and see events and receive notifications for all of my other calendars in the ios calendar app.
example of what i am looking to do, which was available in ios15
5 enabled calendar accounts in the ios calendar app
calendar1 [using my corporate credentials] - only want to enable calendar and see events alongside other events from other calendars in a shared view. do not want to receive any alerts or notifications from any event on this calendar. purpose: see my corporate events alongside personal events. company uses google calendar and my alerts for work are enabled in the google calendar app.
calendar2-5 [from various gmail, hotmail, icloud, and shared icloud calendar] - i want to see events and receive alerts for every event on these calendars and see the events alongside events from my corporate calendar. i exclusively use ios calendar app for personal and other shared calendars.
this behavior is no longer possible. right now when i have a work event i receive a notification from ios calendar and receive from an alert for the same event also from google calendar, effectively getting notification from two apps for the same event.
the link you provided to “customize notifications” affects all calendars and does not allow me to selectively customize the behavior of a single specific calendars.
in many scenarios people have a work/corporate calendar on a personal phone and use default ios apps to interact with them. we need the ability to customize notifications in scenarios where we also use corporate apps for the calendar (ex. google calendar or outlook). we don’t want notifications from both apps but we also want to be able to put events in our personal calendar (rx appointment, etc) and know our availability without having to switch between a corporate calendar app (in my case google calendar) and the ios calendar app.
