We want to help get your Bluetooth sound bar working as expected with your Mac again.
We want to make sure you've tried these exact steps to pair the Bluetooth device:
"Set up a Bluetooth audio device
- On your Mac, choose the device from the Bluetooth status menu (
) in the menu bar. If it’s your first time connecting the device, choose Connect; if you’ve connected this device before, double-click the device name. - If the Bluetooth status menu isn’t in the menu bar, choose Apple menu
> System Preferences, click Bluetooth
, then select the “Show Bluetooth in menu bar” checkbox at the bottom of the window. - Note: If you don’t see Bluetooth in System Preferences, your computer doesn’t support Bluetooth.
- Follow the onscreen instructions to set up the device."

If the issue continues, does the sound bar pair normally with another device? Are you able to see other Bluetooth devices with your Mac?
