When is apple going to allow me to change my alarm volume independently from my ringer volume?

I feel like it would be easy for apple to do this but I don’t do programming. An alarm volume independent from ringer volume in alarm app would allow me to set my alarm and control the volume al in one place and then I don’t need to turn my volume up and down every day. An alarm volume as loud as my phone ringer would wake everyone up in the morning, but when my alarm volume is low enough to not wake everyone up I don’t hear the phone when I’m working.

Is this something apple can work on??

So we can help ensure that your alarm and alerts volume is separate than your app sound, you can do that by disabling the “Change with Buttons” feature, so that your sound is locked in Settings.

"Go to Settings .
Tap Sounds & Haptics (on supported models) or Sounds (on other iPhone models).
Turn off Change with Buttons.” Adjust the volume on iPhone

Hey Keithwins,

The volume of the ringer and alarm will be the same but not change with the volume buttons when this feature is off. It may help if you choose a different sound for your Ringtone and Alarm. Otherwise, you can leave feedback to Apple about changes you’d like to see regarding this here:

Thank you for your response! Doesn’t doin what you suggested just lock the volume of the ringer where the slide button shows it? How loud is the alarm at this point? Doesn’t it match the ringer(slide button)? Maybe I’m just not understanding. I need my alarm volume very low and my ringer 2/3 of the way up. Can you clarify
