Two pink dots appear started to appear on my camera

I was trying to take photos & videos this morning when suddenly I noticed that there were 2 pink dots on my screen. Last night I took some photos & videos but there were no dots on any of the footage I took — and I never dropped my phone between last night and this morning and only plugged my phone to charge last night. So there should be no reason why these dots suddenly started to appear but now I can’t get rid of the dots. How can I troubleshoot so that the dots disappear? It’s not as clear when I take photos but it is very clear when I try to take any videos.

Hello cl2eative,

To isolate this further you'll want to take the troubleshooting steps below:

Remove any case, accessory, or film that might block the camera or flash or that places a magnet near the camera.
Clean the camera lens with a microfiber cloth.
Restart your iPhone.
Tap the rotate button , to see if you experience the same behavior with the other camera.
