Apple Sidecar

My iPad Air 4 is no longer connecting to my MacBook Pro M1 since I updated to iPadOS 15.7 and Monterey 12.6. I can connect them through USB-C and force the pair but Bluetooth is not functioning. Any ideas?

Ipad pro M2 and Macbook m1 pro (2022) . Cannot use sidecar Trying to use side car with both devices (Ipad pro M2 and Macbook m1). I've checked that both devices have latest os installed. Both devices have the same apple id, not shared, with double factor authentication. The Ipad pro is next to the Mac. From Ipad, I go to Setting->Bluetooth and select macbook from the list of the available messages (I'm sure is mine because the computer name matches). [Device not supported error] is shown From Mac, Bluetooth setting, I find the Ipad Pro, click to Pair, The Ipad get paired for just a couple of seconds thant disappear. If I select again the macbook device from the Ipad, I get the same error. [Device not supported error] *I'm sorry I'm translating error messages from Italian, so it may be slightly differents.

Sidecar won’t work wired at all It seems that there’s no options to use sidecar wired. My iPad Pro 3rd gen and 2016 MacBook Pro are both fully updated and I’m able to use sidecar wirelessly but it quickly becomes laggy and eventually disconnects. Ive been trying to do it wired but it seems there no options. When I put it on airplane mode and turn off Bluetooth and Wi-Fi and plug it in it never works. It seems the iPad only shows as a display because it was recently on with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth because when I click it it times out. I already tried another wire and I tried resetting trust settings. It honestly doesn’t even seem like sidecar with the wire is an option I haven’t seen anyone make a video on it I think everyone’s been doing it wirelessly and Dont even realize it because they have their wire plugged in…

Thank you for reaching out in Apple Support Communities. To help troubleshoot this behavior, let's ensure the requirements to use Sidecar wirelessly are met:

- Both devices must be signed in with the same Apple ID using two-factor authentication. Sidecar does not support Managed Apple IDs.

- To use Sidecar wirelessly, both devices must be within 10 meters (30 feet) of each other and have Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and Handoff turned on. Your iPad must not be sharing its cellular connection and your Mac must not be sharing its internet connection.

- To use Sidecar over USB, your iPad must be set to trust your Mac.
