RECOVERING LOST WHATSAPP MESSAGES

I accidentally uninstalled Whatsapp from my Iphone XR (software 15.3).

My last Whatsapp backup (as shown on the whatsapp -> chat backup panel) was 2 weeks ago.

My last full iCloud backup was 5 hours ago.

I do not want to lose 2 weeks of whatsapp messages.

I read some forums that advised to reset the phone via the "Erase all Contents & Settings" button so I can restore to my iCloud backup from 5 hours ago.

That did not work since it only managed to restore my Whatsapp to the backup from 2 weeks ago. (I had thought that it would return my Whatsapp to the state it was in 5 hours ago.)

Is there any way I can recover the messages since my last Whatsapp backup?
