Watch fully charges, Beeps & goes to standard daytime watch face & after discharging for a few seconds decides to Beep & go into charging mode again. Cycle repeats again……. Worked without this problem with previous updates.

I called Apple Support this morning who advised they are aware of the issue.
I informed Apple:
My old watch updated to version 6.3 and new watch to version 9.0. Both had repetitive charging complete sounds.
A hard reset fixed my old watch, however my new watch continued with the repetitive charge complete alert.
I reset the watch again and restored from a backup to find the issue continued.
Reluctantly I setup as new feeling pretty confident that fix the issue... but when the watch fully charged I woke up to - ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding...
Suggestions from Apple Support:
I am keen to hear if anyone else has been able to resolve the issue a different way?

Sure Does. Starts with standard charging face & once watch is fully charged get a Beep then face changes to normal daily face for 3-4 seconds then another Beep as it goes into charging cycle again for 3-4 seconds then Beeps & changes to Daily face again & again & again...... Have done forced reset with no change. Doesn't make any difference if I use my bedside charging stand or alternative Travel Charger.
All was fine pre Watch 9. Last night I removed from the charging stand after a couple of Beep cycles at 3am. This morning I checked watch at 8am & it still had 99% battery life which would certainly indicate the watch is fully charged before it goes into the Beep Discharge, Beep Charge cycles.
Once again updated watch to yesterdays 9.1 expecting 2nd time lucky with recharge beep & charge cycling problem. Sadly no joy at all. Will continue with having to turn off sound each night until hopefully fixed. Although sound off the cycling of charge discharge still annoyingly lights up the room at night. Seem to get two charge/discharge cycles a minute a number of times then goes quiet for a while then repeats.
Does your issue look like this:
Unpaired & did a re-pair setup as new as recommended in option 2 with No improvement.
Charged ok using silent, however the latest watch update 9.2 did nothing to cure the problem. Will continue using until it hopefully gets fixed at future update
I was certain the update would solve all my woes. Sadly nothing changed on my end either. In fact I appear to have adopted more glitches on my handset
