Updating Apple Watch to 15.7

I keep getting message that I have to update my iPhone first…. But I already updated my iPhone to 15.7.

In order to get Watch OS9 your iPhone needs to be running IOS 16 or newer.

Apple Watch won't update until I update iPhone I updated my iPhone to 15.7 today. But when I tried to update my Apple Watch, it tells me "To update the software on your Apple Watch, you first need to update the software on my iPhone.". I click on that link and go to settings where it tells me my iPhone is up to date. Anybody else have this problem?
