Is there a way to disable the two-step deletion when deleting text messages? The second step is the option to report as junk. Not all of the messages I delete are junk and I don’t want to report it inadvertently, resulting in not receiving messages from the number any longer.
strongly suggest this is fixed in the next update if there’s no way to disable the feature.

There has been a two-step process for deleting messages since iCloud Syncing for Messages was released. It was implemented to help prevent people from deleting messages accidentally when it wasn't possible to recover them. So, for most people, this probably doesn't seem like much of a change.
