How do I turn off SOS at the top of my phone? Can’t call or receive calls

i can’t make or receive calls and sometimes my phone says SOS at the top by the WiFi signal icon

SOS means that your phone has a cellular signal (that is, it is receiving service) but your phone is not registered with a carrier or your carrier account is suspended or misconfigured. You need to contact your carrier to resolve this.
