Is your phone updated to ios16?.

Restart your phone then go to;

Settings/software update and scroll down to the bottom of the page.

I haven’t received and Software Update for my iPhone 11 at this time. I am still running on iOS15.7..

The watch won't pair with anything less than ios16.
