OK so the way I had gotten this to stop requesting it because it will request you to complete this each and every day until you do it. So continue setting up the actual eSIM after it has set up it will create another phone number as “Travel” you will then need to go in Cellular or Mobile Data and actually delete the eSIM and after you delete it, it will not ask you to set it up anymore and the eSIM will no long be active. Then you will be left with just your primary phone number that is active.

Hello JoeV27,

That's a great question and you've come to a wonderful place for help! Setting up eSIM on your iPhone 11 is your personal preference. Are you seeing this prompt in Settings on your device? If so, does the prompt continue to appear if you restart the device using the steps listed below? While restarting is a simple step, it is a great way to resolve many issues.

  1. "Press and hold either volume button and the side button until the power-off slider appears.
  2. Drag the slider, then wait 30 seconds for your device to turn off. If your device is frozen or unresponsive, force restart your device.
  3. To turn your device back on, press and hold the side button (on the right side of your iPhone) until you see the Apple logo."

Restart your iPhone

If you continue to have issues after completing those steps, let us know if you currently see signal bars and are you able to make and receive calls successfully. This will help guide us through additional troubleshooting steps.
