iPhone 15: keep being asked to set up Xfinity eSIM

For a few weeks now I have been asked to set up a new cellular eSIM from Xfinity Mobile for my iPhone 15 (iOS 18.1.1). I did not authorize this, and calling Xfinity Mobile confirms that they are not sending this to me.

How can I get my iPhone to reject this eSIM and stop bothering me about it?

Several major carriers have had massive security leaks resulting in personal information compromises. We won't name the companies to protect the guilty.

The message that you see is a scam that is trying to trick you into signing up and providing your personal and financial information to criminals.

All that you can do is ignore and delete the message.

Hey this has been happening to me as well. Same company and same message. SUPER odd. I finally accepted it to see if it actually worked. Was able to browse the net (used private mode on my browser and did not enter any passwords, etc. Just hit a few sights like NYTimes, etc to see what happened) and called the assigned number from another phone to see if it worked and my iphone rang. Tried to get through to Xfinity Mobile to ask them what was going on but all the have is terrible AI chatbots, so I gave up. After 5 minutes I deleted the SIM but it would have been interesting to continue to use it...Was Xfinity paying for it? Very weird
