Can’t disable battery percentage on iPhone

I haven’t been able to disable the ugly new iOS 16 battery percentage indicator on my iPhone 12 Pro since June. Now, after transferring my data to a new iPhone 14 Pro I’m having the same issue.

Anyone else experience this? Have you been able to fix it?

  1. if you are using iCloud you lose nothing.
  2. There are other options but you have neglected to mention what you have tired so I do not know what to suggest.
  3. Every app should keep the data on it specially if there is a log in for the app.
  4. From erase to fully back to where you had it after setting up as new should take less than an hour.
  5. Every app you purchased is recorded in the App Store app and you can get every single one of them back.
  6. Screenshot every screen you have so you can put them back where you like them.

I do use iCloud but unfortunately, I'm not aware of a way to restore app data for apps without a login and that don't use iCloud sync. I use about 200 apps so this is a pretty daunting prospect. Re: other things I've tried, there isn't anything else I've thought to try. This isn't an issue I've come across before and searches haven't yielded any results. Thanks again
