Apple TV keeps asking for creditcard in browsers

Hey,

So I started using Apple TV+ yesterday, and I have been able to watch movies on my Xbox.

However, whenever I try to watch a movie within my browser, it keeps asking me for my creditcard information, which frankly, I don't even own.

I verified that I actually do have a subscription (using the 3-month trial period).

I verified that the problem is not limited to Chrome, Firefox and Edge have the same problem.

Is this by design from Apple, or what's going on??

Apple TV+

3 months free
Next duedate: 16‑12‑2022

Hope someone can help me on how to bypass this dumb Creditcard check, it's not EU friendly.

Yes, by design. It is not about payment, but about parental control settings for browser access, as verified for the account holder/subscriber (the one with a card on file). That might also be a debit card, if that is the payment method for the account, at least for some countries or regions.

Unfortunately, no alternative is listed if you did not link a card to your account. Please contact Apple Support for possibilities.

Right, so I have:

PayPal linked to my Apple ID
iDeal linked to my Apple ID
Apple Pay linked to my Apple ID
My Debit Card linked to Apple Pay (same as iDeal above)

I don't understand why it's trying to enforce the creditcard, while I have no parental control active for myself.
