Anyone have had any problems linking their M1 mac to personal hotspot on iphone 12 mini? I have done all the logging out, going in and out of airplane mode, shutting down and restarting both phone and mac etc etc… Any guidance?

Hot spot is carrier dependent...
Does your provider and your plan support hot spot tethering...? Only you can answer that.
