Half screen in 4k the other in a different resolution?

As of yesterday my Apple TV 4K will have a half screen in a different resolution and the other half in 4k. I’ve not had any problems with 4k resolution until now. I’ve done basic trouble shooting in order to isolate the concern to the Apple TV itself and not my Tv by changing channels to see if Tv by itself has the same concern without the Apple TV connected and it doesn’t. Apple TV seems to work fine when resolution is changed down to 1080 hdr. I’m suspecting internal concern with Apple TV ?

Thank you for your response rudegar! I ended up taking it to Bestbuy to test it on one of their TVs since they’re close to my work and found out that my Tv was the concern as the Apple TV worked flawlessly on theirs. 4K resolution on my old Tv was not up to par anymore so I had an excuse to buy us new one lol… appreciate the help and support Shabbat Shalom!

if it was me then I would test the appletv with another tv at a friend / relative or the likes to verify if it's a tv or appletv issue
