Music player on apple music pausing briefly between songs after iOS 16 update while using bluetooth devices

I updated my phone to IOS 16 and whenever I’m listing to a live album track with my airpods once a song transitions to the other there’s always a slight pause between the songs which is very frustrating. Is there a way to fix this? I’ve tried everything and nothing works. I’ve had this issue before on IOS 15.4 and it was until i updated to i think IOS 15.5 or 15.6, the delay between tracks stopped. Hopefully next IOS update this issue is resolved but until then if there’s any other alternative to this fix please let me know.

Hey there Chris,

Let's team up to take a closer look together by better understanding what's happening, along with ruling out some possible causes:

While iOS 16.0 is the latest release, if you have an iPhone 14 model, the latest is iOS 16.01. You can verify this within Settings > General > About. Here's a link that'll show how to first back up, then Update your iPhone or iPad.
You mentioned trying some steps already, but didn't list any of them. For that reason, we suggest a restart if you haven't tried it yet. This sometimes fixes odd behavior like what you're experiencing in Music: Restart your iPhone
Does the issue occur if you test another pair of Bluetooth headphones, or even just using your iPhone built-in speaker?
