iPhone 14 Pro / iOS 16 Apple Music
Since upgrading to iOS 16 and getting an iPhone 14 Pro I am finding that Apple Music stops playing very frequently. When the music stops playing, looking at the app, the music would appear to be playing i.e. the play / pause button is on play but the song progress bar is not moving. The songs then start skipping through but not playing.
Sometimes fully closing the Apple Music App and opening it again will allow me to start playing music but most of the time it will not and so I switch to using Spotify which is works OK. Sometimes get a stream timeout message both when listening over 5G and WiFi (both with good signal).
This can be when listening through my AirPod Pros, through the iPhone Speakers and when handed off to the Home Pod Mini.
Anyone else have this issue? Phone is fully up to date and has been force restarted to try to clear the issue. Can’t seem to find anything from Apple saying there is an issue.
