I have an iPhone 12 mini and an Apple Watch SE. When adding a battery widget to the phone's lock screen, it only shows the Watch battery status. Is there a way to force the widget to show the phone's battery status?

Tap the battery widget and de-select automatic and choose the device you want to display the battery status. I have a iPhone 12 mini and had exact the same problem.

I have Iphone 11 pro and have the same problem. The widget only shows the watch battery status and not Iphone one.
