Gift card charge twice

I purchased a MacbookAir using the education store deal in order to get the giftcard. My card was charged once and then a few days later it was charged again after the order was shipped. I've received the MacBook yesterday. The charge is currently still showing up in my bank account. I'm wondering what is going on here.
