Can’t delete videos too large to send

I sent someone several videos from my iphone library to them using messenger. I received the message that the videos are too large and did I want to cut their size. No. Figured I’d just delete them and send another way; however, I can’t seem to delete them from that person’s message and now I can’t send him *any* messages now. I receive his messages but cannot reply and the videos are still on his message. Please…does anyone know how I can get the videos deleted so I can message him again? Thanks!!

Hello FLAlleycat,

Let's begin by restarting your iPhone using the steps below:

1. Press and hold the side button until the power-off slider appears.

2. Drag the slider, then wait 30 seconds for your device to turn off. If your device is frozen or unresponsive, force restart your device.

3. To turn your device back on, press and hold the side button until you see the Apple logo.

Should that still persist, is this happening with the built-in Messages app, or another messaging app?
