My airdrop keeps freezing while using the Finder. On the AirDrop device selection window, when I click on a device, nothing happens. I cannot cancel or close the filter. I have to Force Quit the explorer to be able to use the airdrop.

Verify both devices are current—
The current stable release of Monterey including bug fixes, is macOS 12.6
