Duplicate Photos Folder Missing in iOS 16

The Duplicates folder only appear if you have duplicates in your library. If it is not there, then it is not recognizing duplicate photos. More info can be found here: Find and delete duplicate photos and videos on iPhone - Apple Support

Apparently the detection process requires your iPhone to be locked and connected to power. Depending on what tasks are running in the background and the size of your photo library, the process could happen quickly or take up to a few days to complete. So... if you're missing the duplicate photos folder on your iPhone, just wait a couple days and it should populate.
