I stumbled across a specific watch face (see image attached) and tried to reproduce it, but failed.
Could anyone tell me how to set a different background and inner (disc) color?
(or what specific watch face that is)

The face in question is the California face with the circular dial and then different complications around the outside. Exact color options and schemes can vary depending on the watchOS version, so we recommend that you Update your Apple Watch - Apple Support.

Looking though the watch face gallery, we did see a different face showing that beige color, the Typograph face:

If you like that particular beige color, you can leave feedback for Apple.

thank you for your reply, the current watchOS is ofc the latest version.
It looks like that the beige part of the watch face can't be recreated anyhow, because that's a rendering and not a real watch face.
No matter what I try, that beige part will always be in black colour.
