Why did Apple make Chess impossible to beat, even on the easiest level?

Even on "fastest" now the computer takes up to a minute to plan a move, making it impossible to beat.

It was fine until about 2020.

Now it's unplayable.

People have been complaining about this for 2 years.

When will you fix this Apple?

Since the Apple product teams do not participate here, we will never know the programmatic reasons for the Chess behavior.

Your only means to communicate with the product team, and that is not here, would be direct feedback.

However, if you are still using a now unsupported version of macOS, then the problem will never be fixed on that old software.
