When you go to your text messages it has the list of all the last people you texted and under their contact name there is a date. I always thought it was the date of the last text message you sent to them.

When you go to your text messages it has the list of all the last people you texted and under their contact name there is a date. I always thought it was the date of the last text message you sent to them. However, when I opened that particular thread the date of the last text was from a week prior. Does this mean someone is deleting messages?

So my point is the last date of activity was 8/29 but the last thing I see is from 8/21. So Im assuming he deleted it. I'm just trying to clarify that people can delete their last few messages from someone in the thread but under their contact name (where it shows everyone's name who you have text threads with) it will still show the right date of the last sent or received message. Even if it's not there.
