All of a sudden I'm not getting SMS/MMS messages from businesses and android phone users. My research/apple tech support person says this is a Verizon (my carrier) issue. What is the most successful way to regain this service. I have an iPhone 13 mini and am up to date on updates to the O/S 15.6.1

The people in the store can't help you. Verizon needs to re-provision your account if the problem is on their end. They can't do that in the store.
One thing I don't understand is that there are 2 accounts in my Messages app - my phone number and my email address. My thought is that one of those is overriding the other or is not necessary at all. So far I haven't been able to prove that.
SMS/MMS messaging is a carrier feature. Contact your cellular carrier.
Thanks KT. I have a support ticket with Verizon. I recommend no one use Verizon as support is pathetic - it's all virtual. I need to go to the store like before and hope I can see a tech.
