I have AT&T service, and ever since the iOS 18 update, RCS has been working fine when I text Android users on other networks. However, on 12/6/24, that stopped. Android users can send me RCS messages but if I reply or send a new message to them, they’re all SMS. I have done a hard reset and it still doesn’t work. I also checked to make sure RCS is turned on.

have you tried these solutions?
1) turn off the RCS messages toggle under messages in settings, put the phone in airplane mode, and restart the phone.
2) turn off the line in settings under cellular for about 10 minutes, then turn the line back on.
3) delete network settings under reset.
one of these troubleshooting methods should work based on how your RCS stopped working.
I want to also say that if you aren't getting RCS messages, then someone on an Android phone is sending you an sms message.
