The Apple TV App on Roku does not stored watched content.

I have seen this same question asked for iOS devices and Macs, but not for Roku and it is troublesome. I use Roku devices on all my TV screens, and when I watch a show on Roku, it keeps absolutely no track of what I have watched, or where I am in a series. Related: My “Up Next” never changes order in response to watched shows.

Can someone point out some setting I am missing, or perhaps there is their a fix in the pipeline? I know Roku apps are a pain to code (As I have built two private streaming apps for Roku), however this is a very doable thing. I would be disappointed if a major hardware and software manufacturer let an app pass though QA without a foundation level function in the app. I really hope I am just missing something….

Please respond with something useful, unlike reset the Roku, or reinstall AppleTV, I can assure you I tried that.
