Thank you.

Does the error message appear on the computer or on the printer itself?

Can you print a test page or copy a document directly on the printer, without a connected computer/device.?

This printer can use USB, Ethernet, and Wi-Fi. How is it connected?

The HP LaserJet Pro MFP M148fdw is listed in About AirPrint - Apple Support as a printer supporting the driverless AirPrint technology. An AirPrint-enabled model is compatible with macOS, and can be used without additional drivers, provided that the printer and the Mac computer (and an iPhone or iPad) are connected to the same network (Wi-Fi router). AirPrint works with wireless (Wi-Fi) or wired (Ethernet) network connections.

What happens if you try to print to this printer from an iPhone or iPad via AirPrint (without an additional app)?
