Color mask opacity? Is this possible?

I'd like to add a color mask, then reduce the opacity of it to reveal content of a clip underneath. Is this possible?

How to mask a clip based on the key of another I have two videos overlapped on one another. One is a white shadow of the object against a black background. The other is of the colour of the object. I've masked the white shadow with a luma keyer so only the white parts are visible. I want to mask the colourised video using the white shadow as a mask, so that all semi transparent parts are recognised from the white shadow. So I can then place the colourised video against backgrounds successfully. How do I do this?

Using a 'shape mask' when colour grading -- can I create a 'Draw Mask'? The shape mask in the inspector is pretty simple, a circle, oblong, rectangle, square. The Keyer allows you to key out any color. Use the eyedropper to select the color and adjust the range.

At the very bottom of Keyer is a Mix parameter. You can control the amount of opacity with it to create a reveal.
