How do I log out of my Macbook as a hard restart?
I am currently trying to log out of my apple account on my Mac book.

It's not clear to me whether you want to log out of your Mac's User Account or whether you want to log out of iCloud.
(Apple menu) > Log Out
or...
(Apple menu) > System Preferences... > Apple ID > Overview > Sign Out...
... respectively.
