I was trying to airplay Hulu from my 16inch MacBook Pro. I get the audio, but the video goes black on both the MBP and the TV. I got it to work in Chrome, but would like it to work in Safari.

Hulu says to support AirPlay from their mobile app, but not from computers.
You can however stream through HDMI directly to a TV (but then they have to be close to each other).

Even Chromecast from browsers isn’t officially supported. Supported devices you can use with Google Chromecast - Hulu Help Center: “At this time, casting from other browsers and devices — including Fire tablets, Nook or Windows — is not supported.”
Thanks for the info. I did get it to work using Chrome after going to Settings -> Advanced -> System and turning off "Use hardware acceleration when available".
