Apple announced to develop their own classical music service. But so far they only eliminated Primephonic. Apple Music does not know the difference between a composer, director or artist and is rather useless. I'm stuck with all my playlists that cannot be exported to an actual Classical app. Not a nice way to treath a customer, is there any hope for the near future?
If true, that's very sad. As a Primephonic subscriber, I signed up (and paid) for Apple Music (and put up with its inappropriate UI) in the hope that this service would eventually be available. Apple should at least tell us their intentions.
I signed up with Apple Music because of primephonic but it appears to be dead. The new iOS has just been released but no classical app. They took arguably the best classical streamer on the market and simply killed it. Thanks apple.
It has now been about a year since Primephonic died. Are the people who worked there still with Apple? Anybody out there know what happened to them??
I believe the whole project is dead and Apple lied to customers.
There was plenty of such news from last year. If article does not come from Apple it is not a proof.
I think I start creating own database and create own metadata to match apple music ID's
