Recover Music Files From iphone

I was one of several numbskull QNAP users that got hit by a ransomware bug a few months back where all of my files stored on the QNAP became encrypted. Since the only files on my QNAP were my itunes media files and ripped DVD's, I just deleted them vs. paying the ransom. First step was fixing the security vulnerability, which was quickly taken care of. I have been lazy about attempting to rebuild the library as it feels like a PITA.

By way of background, I use the QNAP as a music server to stream my itunes library throughout my house. No problem as far as music purchased through iTunes as I simply re-downloaded those files to the server. The problem is that about 50% of my music library was comprised of ripped CD's from the days of yore and I really don't want to go through the pain of re-ripping those dusty old things.

I'm happy to report that prior to the ransomware I had downloaded all of my iTunes music, including ripped CD's to my iPhone, so on my phone, the library is intact.

My question is - how can I download the music library from my phone, back to my PC / music server? It seems like an easy task, but wanted to check first so that I don't accidentally cause iTunes to overwrite the files on the phone.

TIA for your help.
