I just purchased a lightning SD Card Camera Reader, but cannot get it to read on my iPad. I have a generation 9. Can you help?

With introduction of iPadOS the import photos prompt doesn’t now occur. Instead, you should be able to simply import using the native Files App.

Maybe you can't read it because your card is sad.
How is your card formatted?
Does it have a dcim folder?
