2022 macbook air m2 extension

why is the power adapter extension cable not compatible with the M2 (2022)? The description for the only extension cable they carry says it works with the 30w chargers bit the compatibility list only goes to the m1. Sounds like either apple hasnt tested it out or theres a problem with using it for some reason. I guess i will have to buy a regular extension cable which im assuming apple will say isnt acceptable…
