Apple Watch Series 6 crashing on Nike Run Club App

Hi,

I use Nike Run Club to track my runs. Lately I have been experiencing the app crashing on my s6 Apple Watch. I start a run and then the app goes back to menu page and when I try starting again the start button doesn’t work. However if I restart the watch it will reopen app to where I left off and it counted time lapsed in my run time without pausing. Happens very frequently throughout run and watch becomes unusable.

Watch on watchOS 8.7 (newest at the time of this posting)

First, we'd recommend checking for and installing any updates that may be available for the app: How to manually update apps on your Apple device - Apple Support

"How to manually update apps on your Apple Watch

Open the App Store and scroll down to the bottom.
Tap Account.
Tap Updates.
Tap Update next to an app to update only that app, or tap Update All."
