When will Apple Music support Handoff?

Sometimes I want to leave my mac and continue listening music on my phone, or the other way around. I think it pretty straightforward and can be down by Handoff, but why it hasn't been introduced to Apple music?

Handoff can be used between iPhone and HomePod.

Yes, but I want Handoff between Mac and iPhone, or sometimes maybe iPad. Just like what we have for Safari, Notes, and etc.
